An Hour with Uncle Eddie
Edward James Robinson "Uncle Eddie" was a ninety-eight-year-old man who lived a complex relationship with time and its challenges in life. While photographing his living situation it personally opened my mind to the effects of time and the physical and mental development that comes with ageing. Uncle Eddie lived on his own, and at his age he still managed to be independent and encouraged himself to keep pushing forward to his end of life. Through this series I aim for the audience to reflect upon their perception of time and its duration, which we often take for granted, thus lacking a deeper consideration to the significance it has on how we perceive our own life and that of others.
