Through my father, John Rigby’s lived experience, Ageing: Retirement Overdue investigates and provides insight into why older Australians have no choice but to work beyond retirement. In this story, I photographed my father’s day-to-day experiences in response to his personal and professional life within his domestic space. Ageing: Retirement Overdue explores the physical and mental impact on my father's life as he worked until the age of 72 to support his family and to live comfortably.
